Jim was born and raised in Kingston, Tennessee and moved to Houston, Texas and graduated from the University Of Houston College Of Pharmacy in 1987. Jim worked in retail pharmacy for eleven years, and then later worked at a hospital in east Texas for three years. Jim made his way back to his hometown and has owned an Independent Pharmacy since 2001. Jim is the Compounding Specialist here at Munsey Pharmacy. One of his favorite hobbies is to play golf. Jim has been married to his beautiful wife for 29 years, and has three wonderful children one daughter and two sons.
Jim was born in Kingston, Tennessee. He moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in 1949 and later graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1963. Jim worked at his father’s pharmacy, Jackson Square Pharmacy before graduating as a pharmacist. He attended Tennessee Tech University and studied pre- pharmacy. He later graduated from University of Tennessee in 1967 college of pharmacy. After graduation he worked at Jackson Square Pharmacy and later took over the family business. Jim sold his business in 2006, semi-retired and came to work for Munsey Pharmacy. Jim has served on the boards of several different civic organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Legislative and Political Affairs. Jim is a University of Tennessee football fan and has been a season ticket holder for forty-seven years. Something unique about Jim is that he has been on all seven continents and is a world traveler. Jim has been married to his wife Betty for forty-seven years and has a son and a daughter as well as four grandchildren.
Les was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated with his degree in Pharmacy from University of Georgia in 1981. Les moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in 1981 to start his career as a Pharmacist. Les has been married for six years and has two sons. Les has been awarded the Baxter Travenol Award for Neuro-pharmacology. He is also a member of the Tennessee Pharmacy Association and is certified to immunize. Some of Les’s hobbies are fishing, and watching Georgia Bulldogs football. His favorite cities to travel to are Vancouver, San Antonio and New Orleans. He has worked for Munsey Pharmacy for four years.
